Though we will offer WordPress plugins ourselves in the future, we also want to promote the work of others when the ideas is good. So, I’ll kick that series of with a plugin and a theme that got my attention today.
When trying to get a site to rank for a certain keyword in Google or any other search engine, you might feel comfortable when you reach the 2nd or 3rd position, but below is the reason why you shouldn’t stop there.
There is quite a difference between the 1st and the 2nd place, when it comes to the number of visitors you’ll get. If the numbers in the photo below are right, then visitors to the site that ranks first are four times as many than those that go to the site in the second place.
Today we launch a new series of posts, the Weekly Keyword List. Its purpose is to give those that don’t like doing keyword research or don’t know how some indication of what keywords they could target in different niches. Or, just as easily, you can create a site with articles based around these keywords.
Remember though, provide useful information, don’t just focus on keyword focused articles. In the next few days I’ll write an article about the benefits of doing a site for users, not for search engines, and providing real value.
